I am amazed at how many terrific sites for artists I keep stumbling upon as I surf the internet. These are some of my favorites.

DeviantArt.com

deviantart

deviantArt has so many over-talented artists that I quickly lose count. I really enjoy the eye candy here, it is both humbling and inspirational at the same time :-) Definitely one of the go to spots for many artist on the internet. Some of my favorites.

Pixelbrush

pixelbrush

From the creators of the Pixelbrush site: "We simply want this place to be a nice and fun place to hang out, and also a place for artists to seek help or to contribute by sharing their art and knowledge." -Henning and Tascha

ImagineFX.com

imaginefx

ImagineFX is a digital fantasy art magazine, but their site is a melting pot for a lot of great artists and tutorials.

CGSociety

cgsociety

CGSociety.org is another popular site for artists. Also has some great tutorials and galleries.

NeonDragonArt

Neon Dragon Art

NeonDragonArt.com is an art collective created and administrated by J "NeonDragon" Peffer. The focus of the site is to share my art with the online community, as well as to create an comfortable environment for other artists and fantasy enthusiasts.

ConceptArt.org

ConceptArt.org describes themselves as: "a web community of artists who are here for one purpose. We want to help each other learn about art, provide the best place to showcase work, further our art educations, and to meet other artists from around the world."

Colourlovers

colourlovers-fight-for-the-love-in-color-revolution is a nifty place where you can create your own palettes and share them with other members. It is inspiring to browse all of these palettes with really dramatic names. Great site if you have trouble coordinating like me.

Linesandcolours.com

Here is another great site for illustration and painting. From the editor: "lines and colors is a blog about drawing, sketching, painting, comics, cartoons, webcomics, illustration, digital art, concept art, gallery art, artist tools and techniques, motion graphics, animation, sci-fi and fantasy illustration, paleo art, storyboards, matte painting, 3d graphics and anything else I find visually interesting. If it has lines and/or colors, it's fair game."

Worth1000.com

I heard about Worth1000 a while back, but never visited until today. Wow! Did I miss out. The contests here are a lot of fun and the competition can get pretty stiff. The best place to start browsing is via the gallery.
